Sketchbooks filled mostly on location using gouache on brightly primed heavyweight paper. The act of recording is one of slipping gently into another mind-state, dissolving into the space for a few hours until something of the environment has been captured and transferred. The liminal nature of these places allowing the process to be part meditation, part reverence through noticing.
